Al: Update Week 10/26
Update from October 21st - October 28th
On Wednesday the 21st, I messed with the terrain tool and figured out how to achieve the polygonal style by turning the resolution down and using geometric shaped brushes. I applied a random grainy grass texture to see the scene in better lighting.
Over the weekend I created textures/materials of various browns and greens to paint the landscape. I also used a post-processing volume on the scene to add fog effects and make the shadows emphasize the seams between angles on the terrain. Then I made a few materials with a grid to temporarily provide the experience of brick and stone on the temporary arena and towers. I also put in some NPCs who are currently doing nothing but sitting in a T-Pose for now.
After Faith added in the new arena, trees, and village, I went in and adjusted the terrain some more and moved around some assets to make the town layout make more sense than what I put on the original whitebox.
Finally, a snapshot showing the assets I made this past week as well as showing the implementation of background music and sound effects for the wizards in animal form.
