Peyton: Playtest 2 Update
Low Polymorph » Devlog
Prepared Questions:
- Does the level's layout too large or too spread out?
- Do all of the audio components sound well/mixed well?
- What do you think of the spells in the game?
Playtester Feedback:
- Flames audio really loud
- Player character is really tall
- Audio was mixed well for most part
- Layout of the level felt natural, I felt like I should go down the left path, which leads you eventually going to the right path. So the indirect leading of the game felt really nice rather than forcing me to go a certain direction.
- I love the low art poly style
- Enemy needs to be attacking the player
- There should be dialogue or more interaction with the NPC's.
Overall felt like for the content we had for the playtest met our standards on what we were wanting to achieve and receive as feedback. As the main programmer for the project there are still many implementations to be made for the overall game system and combat system, but wanted to first make sure the layout of our level and what the content was, satisfied our playtesters before really getting into system/combat design.
