Al: Whitebox Playtest Review
Low Polymorph » Devlog
The whitebox area seems too crowded in the later areas; the opening area with the wizard towers seems more balanced, but the scale is still off in that it is a little small for the character and their camera. The arena needs to be scaled up to house a final boss battle, especially if the wizard NPCs will play any part in it (perhaps there can be stands where monsters watch for amusing flavor). The "mountain" regions will need to be sculpted larger to resemble actual mountains/successfully block off the player's view and motion, but are meant to be replaced with impassable tree areas once in art assets are placed.
Important changes to be made:
- More clarity on what areas are (start/end sections, placement of art assets)
- Increasing the scale to be a slightly larger world that feels realistic to the cartoon style
